Summary

The MAC-10 is a unlockable weapon for $30,000. It is very effective in close range engagements, and it is viewed as a direct upgrade to the Uzi due to its high fire rate and higher ammo content, although having the highest firerate on the market naturally has a high recoil, barring any chance of winning a medium range fight without closing the distance.

This weapon is designed for point-blank CQC action where its DPS excels all other guns. This weapon's nature allows for mag dumps, or very quickly putting 25 bullets into a very unfortunate person. Armor will not save the person at the receiving end of this gun, but only if they are really close, which is the problem with this gun. Its medium range capability is severely hampered and even a humble Beretta will most likely defeat this weapon, god forbid a long range encounter.

Usage & Tactics

The MAC-10 performs similarly to the MP-7, being more close-quarters-combat (CQC) oriented. Its range and recoil limit its ability to perform outside of short range as the low minimum damage, and high recoil severely hinders its usage beyond CQC.

The good hipfiring ability of the weapon highlights its intended usage in close quarters. When hipfiring, the user will be rarely engaging beyond close his range. Not having to aim in close quarters can be the difference between a kill or death, as ADS can take up precious reaction time.
